Trey Alexander Giles, a 21-year-old associate of the ‘All Family No Friends’ street gang, was sentenced to five years in federal prison for possessing a machine gun in Springfield, Missouri. Between July 2023 and February 2025, Giles was repeatedly reported to police for his involvement in violent incidents, including domestic violence and crimes involving firearms. On September 21, 2023, police searched Giles’ vehicle and found a Glock pistol equipped with a machine gun conversion device, as well as other loaded firearms and marijuana.

Giles’ troubles with the law didn’t end there. On November 2, 2023, he was again contacted by police, who found a Glock pistol with a machine gun conversion device under a trash can. Giles pleaded guilty to possession of a machine gun on October 3, 2025, and was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Stephen R. Bough.

The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Springfield, Missouri Police Department, as part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative aimed at reducing crime.
