Two ruthless dealers are going down for a crime that’s all too familiar in the Sunshine State: murder over a missing package of meth. Tsvia Kol, 37, of Hallandale, and Jimmy Sanchez, 38, of Spring Valley, California, thought a Miami man had swiped their 11-pound stash worth $90,000. But in reality, the package was already in the hands of law enforcement.
The pair confronted the victim in a hotel room, where Kol handed Sanchez a gun. The 911 call captured the chaos, with the victim desperately trying to give his location before being silenced by gunshots.
Sanchez admitted to the crime, while Kol confessed to being an accomplice. Authorities say the defendants thought they could get away with the execution-style murder, but now they’ll be spending 46 years behind bars. Assistant Attorney General A. Tysen Duva warns that the drug trade often ends in death, and the DOJ will continue to prosecute violent crimes.
