Juniata County Man Charged with Cocaine Trafficking and Firearm Offenses
HARRISBURG – Larry L. Grove, Jr., 36, of Mifflintown, Pennsylvania, was slammed with federal charges for allegedly running a cocaine ring.
According to Acting United States Attorney John C. Gurganus, Grove was indicted on June 18, 2025, by a federal grand jury on eight counts, including distributing cocaine and methamphetamine between December 2024 and May 2025.
The indictment alleges that on May 20, 2025, Grove possessed with the intent to distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine, along with quantities of marijuana. Grove was also charged with possessing firearms after he was convicted of a felony.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Pennsylvania State Police Troop G VICE Unit, and the Mifflin County Drug Task Force. Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen Dukes is prosecuting the case.
This case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative that aims to eliminate cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protect communities from violent crime.
The maximum penalty under federal law for the most serious offense alleged in the indictment is 40 years of imprisonment, a term of supervised release following imprisonment, and a fine.
Indictments are only allegations. All persons charged are presumed to be innocent unless and until found guilty in court.
Grove’s alleged crimes carry significant weight, with the potential for a $1 million fine, and a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison.
As part of Operation Take Back America, the Department of Justice will continue to work tirelessly to dismantle cocaine trafficking rings and bring those responsible to justice.
